Yeah, so I’ll be moving in with my brother.
THE PROBLEM IS.
JOBS! Okay, so, the minute I move down there I need to start working. I would want to work in restaurant, server.
I work in one now, but I’m not a server,
I’m a “bussgirl” BUT I do everything. I take orders for the servers sometimes. So I know my part.
But how much do they pay in houston?
…
What’s the difference from Boston to Houston?
Besides the weather….
all your replies will help!
THANK YOU..
feel free to say any other information that will help
Ps. I’m a lesbian, so any other good information on that?
My brother said Montrose, is very Gay-Lesbian… Reason why he wants to move around there.
Hello,
I would appreciate any assistance!
My boyfriend and I are planning to move from Raleigh, NC to Houston, TX. We have been running into a few problems. It is very difficult for me to find a good Administrative position. Its not as bad for him being he is in the finance field but we could still use some help with that.
I am 24 and he is 25. He has a degree in Finance as well as a degree in Business Economics and a Series 7 and 63 License. He has experience as a Stockbroker on Wall Street, NY as well as a Financial Advisor and Portfolio Analyst for a few companies.
I am currently pursing my degree in Computer Information Technology/Computer Engineering and Psychology. I have 8 years of experience working in all aspects of the Administrative sector. I have held positions as a Legal Assistant, Secretary, Office Coordinator, Office Manager, Transcriptionist and Receptionist. I have searched just about every search engine including USA Gov. Jobs, State jobs, Careerbuilder, Monster, Craigslist and Hotjobs. Does anyone have any suggestions for my boyfriend and I. We do not want to move until one of us finds a good job. I also have an extensive amount of computer knowledge in all software aspects, typing at 95WPM and experience in the Medical, Legal and Human Services (Non-Profit) fields.
Please help us!! Thanks!

have tried the d’elegance thing in galv, not classy enough, tried bikini beach at nasa, way too young of a crowd, ice age is too over the edge, i am 35, love to dance, have a drink or 2, be around people of my age, with a variety of music, anything near and in between beyonce, lil jon, eagles, fleetwood mac, bon jovi, tlc….and if possible how about mature men who actually have jobs and cars and know how to have a good time while still treating me like a lady? anyone know where these clubs/bars/hang outs might be?
I moving from L.A. looking for a decent job payscale similar to L.A. and good stable. Which is city for it? what about cost of living? also which of the city in texas has the biggest chinese population?
ok im moving to houston texas in a year or so due to a transfer in my job. my home price range is about $160,000 – $210,000 with about 4 bedrooms. i have seen some very decent houses but i am wondering if i should juss get a home built. i certainly have enough time so thats not an issue. i would just like to know the price ranges and what i would be getting for my money and whether or not its even worth it.
My husband and I get out of the military in September, we have a two year old and one on the way due at the end of October. He’s going to be working for an oil company and flying in and out of Houston every two weeks. I’m planning on a full time job as “at home mom”. We decided instead of moving to where my family is from (Santa Rosa, CA) we’d move to Houston to save money on a house and his traveling expenses. Neither of us have been to Texas, I’m curious about everything around Houston… Schools, Neighborhoods, Recreation, People, etc…
I am a Katrina survivor. My job relocated me to Houston Texas for 5 months and then back to Louisiana. Currently I live in an apartment that I pay $800.00 a month for. The buiding was sold and the new landlord wants $1200.00 a month. I can barely afford the $800.00 and the $1200.00 I can not under no circumstances afford. I am a single working woman whose salary has been cut since Katrina. I need help with a place that I can afford. I am trying to regain my security and stability. I live on the edge all the time. Since Katrina I developed hypertension and I just need help right now. Believe me FEMA is a joke.
