my husband is in houston texas needing a place to stay until he can get his first paycheck at his new job. if anyone know’s anyone willing to help or anyplace i can call please email me or answer back thank you and god bless

check with reliant — they should have relocation temporary housing for their employees, especially for those coming in from other states. most large companies offer this.
Sell your computer so you can rent a hotel for him.
Call around to the local churches. They might be able to help you.
Your husband should speak with someone at reliant – I doubt they want any of they’re employees sleeping in their car. Maybe he can get some kind of advance or loan.

Maybe you should have saved some money for when you came to Houston. Me and my husband moved from Oregon to Texas a year ago and stayed in a hotel for a week till we found an apartment . Sorry I have no sympathy for you when Nola is next door and me and my husband moved across the country its all just planning and being responsible and idependent.
