depends on what you like…
San Antonio is a VERY laid back relaxed city.. it has a VERY Hispanic feel (not in a bad way but lots of business’ have siesta’s etc ) lots of scenery and very fun to visit and enjoy…
Houston OTOH is more cosmopolitan… lots o high rises action all night every night.. etc….
keep in mind both cities are DISTINCTLY texan… meaning unlike NY and the east coast pick a direction drive for 90 minutes and you are OUT of the city..
Houston also has the advantage of being on the coast.. so lots of salt water activities if you enjoy them (as well as the annual hurricane scare)
so in short depends on what you enjoy in cities!
San Antonio, any day over Houston. You may also want to check out the Austin area. Rents will be higher in the City areas, you might want to check out little towns within say a 30 minute drive from these places.
I personally prefer San Antonio. However, not knowing your preferences, I can’t say which city is best for you.
I would suggest doing some online searching on both cities.
Online research will also help you evaluate the nursing job market.
Hands down it has to be San Antone.
Centraly located not far from mexico, the hill country, & the gulf of mexico.
Least of all don’t forget the Alamo!
